Google and the free download of Books
Google has begun making forays into the book world, already offering all of Shakespeare's work online. As of Wednesday, 8/30, according to an article in Information Week, the company "has started offering downloads of out-of-copyright books from its library partners, which include Harvard, The New York Public Library, and the University of California."
When you call up Google, click on "More", then "Books." You will see the following
"Search the full text of books and discover new ones. Take Shakespeare with you. Download classic public domain books."
"The complete works of such classics as Dante's Inferno and Isaac Newton's Principia are available in PDF format..."
Enjoy!
